What Health Care Law Means to your Wallet

Regina Lewis from USA Today talks in easy to understand terms about the impact of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.

‘With this act, employers can increase incentives to take part in goal oriented wellness programs. In other words, you’ll pay more for your insurance if you don’t participate. Providing incentives corresponds with a 14% increase in wellness participation. Research has shown that for every dollar spent, health care and absenteeism drop. Medical expenses drop by $3.21 for every dollar spent on wellness.

Think ahead, stay as well as you can.”
