Hiran Perera, Founder, CEO, Board Member

Hiran Perera co-founded Walkingspree in 2006. Previously, Hiran was the CFO of two successful start-ups where he was instrumental in taking both companies to completion of IPOs and public listing of shares. Hiran is active in the community to promote wellness as he currently serves as a member of Mayor’s Fitness Council for City of San Antonio. Previously, he was the Chair of San Antonio’s American Heart Association’s My Heart My Life Committee and served on the Board of Governors for Fair Oaks Ranch Country Club. Hiran has a Bachelor of Commerce degree, and an MBA and holds a professional accounting designation.

Cliff Kiel, Chief Revenue Officer

Cliff Kiel is Chief Revenue Officer at Walkingspree, responsible for leading sales and account management for the company. With nearly 30 years of deep sales and account management leadership experience within the benefits space, Kiel most recently served as Senior Vice President of Sales for FinFit, a leading Fintech Financial Wellness provider of group benefits. He was a member of the company’s senior leadership team, leading all group benefit sales while directing a team of national sales professionals. Prior to Finfit, Kiel held leadership positions at MetLife, UnitedHealthcare, CIGNA, Caremark, and ValueOptions. Kiel received his Bachelor of Arts from The State University of New York, Oneonta, and his Certificate in Healthcare Management from The University of CA Irvine.

Timi Lynch, Vice President of Administration

Timi Lynch is Vice President of Administration at Walkingspree, responsible for Accounting, Controlling and Tax functions, HR & Benefit Management and Back Office administration. She has over 25 years of management experience in Information Technology, Accounting and Operations for both Fortune 500 companies and start-ups, including serving as Global Vice President of Operations for a small innovation consulting firm, helping to grow the partnership ten-fold in the course of her tenure. Lynch received her Bachelor of Business Administration from Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos, TX.

Carrie Donnell, Director of Client Engagement

Carrie Donnell is the Director of Client Engagement at Walkingspree. She is responsible for leading the Client Engagement Team, including Client Success Managers and Client Success Coordinators.  Carrie has almost 15 years of experience within the health and wellness industry including areas of account management, corporate program design and promotion, onsite events, health coaching and health and wellness education.  Carrie received her Master’s Degree in Human Nutrition from Texas State University. She is also a Certified Health Coach and Certified Fitness and Nutrition Coach.

Kelly Howard-Peistrup, Director of Marketing

As Director of Marketing at Walkingspree, Kelly Howard-Peistrup is responsible for marketing materials, email communications, social media, website development, and online presence and reputation. Kelly brings more than 20 years of successful digital marketing, website development, and graphic design experience to the Walkingspree leadership team working with companies in the hospitality, investment, real estate, education, and non-profit sectors. Kelly earned a Bachelor’s degree from the University of South Florida Cum Distinction with a concentration in International Studies. She holds certifications in Email Marketing, Content Creation, SEO, Social Media Marketing and Customer Acquisition.
