Hiran co-founded Walkingspree in 2006 and has guided the firm to be one of the most recognized firms within the corporate wellness industry. Hiran has executive experience in three successful start-ups prior to development of Walkingspree. He served as Executive VP, CFO and Director of Shift Networks (a VOIP telecom provider) then later as CFO at Resverlogix (a biotechnology firm). He brought both companies to IPO to be listed as public companies. Hiran had a fifteen-year management career in Rogers Wireless, starting in its first year of operation with $0 revenues to driving revenues over $1 billion. During his tenure at Rogers, Hiran had roles as a divisional GM, and as progressive department head roles in Corporate Development, Product Development and Marketing. Hiran has an MBA from the University of Western Ontario, a Bachelor of Commerce from University of Calgary, and holds a Certified Management Accountant certification.Hiran currently serves as a member of Mayor’s Fitness Council for City of San Antonio, and is the former Chair of American Heart Association’s My Heart My Life (MHML) Committee in San Antonio.
Hiran practices what his company preaches with a weekly routine of early-morning workouts intertwined with inter-club tennis, social golf and family hikes. He has averaged over 12,000 steps a day since founding Walkingspree in 2006.
Patrick brings a wealth of experience in Product Development and as an IT executive. Patrick’s accomplishments include Co-Creator of AT&T’s Innovation Program (AT&T Foundry, The Innovation Pipeline, and Fast-Pitch Program), architect and shepherd of AT&T’s employee-sourced innovation incubator, built a cloud communications PaaS used by service providers and Fortune 100 companies (Kandy.IO), and modernized an international software development organization of over 130 developers by implementing change management, SCRUM, QA automation and a CI/CD pipeline. Patrick recently launched a SaaS company in the in enterprise Innovation management space (InnoStreams.com), serves as an advisor for technology start-ups and a mentor at San Antonio’s collaborative workspace known as Geekdom.
Nathan brings exceptional leadership abilities with the capacity to build, train and mentor highly productive marketing, sales, and operational teams. Nathan brings sales experience to Walkingspree in marketing innovative solutions to human resource professionals. Recently, Nathan was the Area Sales Manager for TriNet Corporation, the nation’s leading and largest stand-alone professional employer organization. Nathan rose up the ranks with a successful 16+ year track record with Enterprise Rent-A-Car starting from Management Trainee to Regional Rental Manager for the Dallas market. In his last role in Dallas, Nathan led the entire rental team consisting of over 60 locations and 200 team members. In this Enterprise career, Nathan was also posted in Hamburg, Germany for three years where he was instrumental in launching Enterprise operations in the North German Market.
Nathan holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. Nathan is also very active in the local community serving in non-profit organizations and in youth sports activities.
Stu brings over twenty-five years of accounting and controllership experience to Walkingspree. Recently, Stu and his family moved back to Texas after a six-year stint in Colorado. Previously, Stu was the Controller at Colorado Heights University in Denver responsible for Controllership, Treasury and Office Administration and also held a similar role for Hope Communities as CFO & Controller. Stu also worked for Ernst & Young in Dallas in Shared Services as part of their internal audit and project management teams. Prior to that, Stu had a fifteen years experience in Hospitality property management and development as a Controller. Stu oversaw ongoing Accounting, Human Resources and Finance functions for multiple properties.
Stu holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from William Jewell College in Liberty, Missouri. Stu has served as a sports photographer and reporter and currently focused on landscape and wildlife work.
