Vice President and Chief Technology Officer

We are seeking an experienced CTO with technology/startup background to contribute to and share in the success of Walkingspree. As the CTO, you are responsible for the strategic and tactical planning, execution, and managements of all Walkingspree IT initiatives that are key to Company’s growth and success. We will rely on you to provide the leadership and management necessary to develop and execute on its IT road map in a fast paced environment. As a recruitment bonus as the CTO, you will be given the opportunity buy equity at a discounted rate and be awarded with a generous stock option package to enhance your upside.

Location:
Your home office in the U.S. (Texas preferred)

Responsibilities:
• Develop, review and maintain product road map with CEO and leadership team
• Provide reports to senior management on the progress and status of IT initiatives
• Ensure the Walkingspree and client websites remain cutting edge in utilizing new technologies and interactive features
• Solicit and manage product development ideas from staff, clients and customers
• Answer high-level technology questions for potential clients during the sales and implementation process and provide technical responses to RFP’s
• Deliver a seamless web solution to private clients by offering as data integration, single sign on, data security and overcoming barriers such as corporate firewalls
• Evaluate mobile tracking devices and smartphone apps that can be utilized as physical activity tracking devices and implement appropriate solutions
• Build and develop a quality product development team
• Manage the IT staff, assigning tasks and projects, promoting internal growth and ensuring objectives are met on a timely basis
• Hire 3rd party contractors as required to meet product development road map plans
• Integrate products developed by third-party content and service providers to expand the products and services marketed by Walkingspree
• Oversee all programming initiatives from planning to testing and implementation
• Manage the product development budget
• Oversee security and manage capacity of our SaaS product platform
• Serve as an internal consultant and active contributor to the strategic direction of Walkingspree

Qualifications:
• 5-7 years in senior technical project management; 10+ years in IT Software Development
• Progressive management experience in a high-tech startup/growth firm in a software/product development role
• Proven track record of defining, developing and implementing effective product development plans
• History of leading teams, including Web Developers, Designers, and Contractors
• Excellent communication, including producing a IT road map and expressing a technology vision across the organization
• Web programming (Drupal content management, PHP, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax) and database development (MySQL) experience to oversee and review coding
• Intuitive understanding of user interface design and web user needs
• Proven ability to effectively allocate resources, with budget and time constraints
• Disciplined, motivated and work independently to succeed in this “Virtual Office” role from your home office; may change to a central work location in the future

Benefits:
You will become an owner of Walkingspree with an opportunity buy equity at a discounted rate be awarded a with a generous stock option package after a four month evaluation period. Your starting annual salary will be $70K with a potential 18K annual bonus. After 3rd party financing is raised, your compensation will adjust near to market rates to similar size organizations and will increase with the growth and profitability of Walkingspree. We also provide a health insurance package, paid holidays and vacation.

Manager of Business Development (positions open in North/East, Central and West Coast markets)

In this role, you will work for a company that is innovatively addressing the healthcare challenges faced by employers and insurers with Software as a Service solution. Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree
• Proven experience in selling to corporate accounts with an average sale contract in excess of $100,000
• Ability to quickly understand the business of health insurance and corporate wellness to serve the needs of each unique client
• Must be disciplined and focused to work from your home office
• Experienced in writing customized sales proposals and responding to RFPs
• Experienced in solution sales by understanding the needs of the client and having the creative/analytical ability to deliver a custom solution sale for our client
• Excellent writing and interpersonal skills
• Computer savvy and willingness to work closely with the rest of the WalkingSpree team
• Disciplined to update your activities on Salesforce.com and provide weekly reports

Account Manager

Location:
Home office in the U.S.

Responsibilities:
You will be working with internal teams such as sales, marketing and customer service to successfully execute the following duties:
• Manage Walkingspree program implementation from hand-off to launch with the client, typically within six weeks
• Manage client expectations and continuously work with the client to expand the business relationship
• Generate and present quarterly and/or monthly client reports and ad-hoc reports as requested
• Coordinate the participant surveys and annual ROI calculations
• Manage the overall customer satisfaction of assigned clients and strengthen relationships
• Provide feedback with regard to product requirements and enhancements
• Work with the clients and the internal Walkingspree organization to implement promotions, new services and challenges to increase program participation
• Analyze client performance to identify drivers and deliver the highest level of client satisfaction within assigned accounts to ensure maximum participation
• Undertake special projects such as conceptualize, develop and coordinate the implementation of new products and programs targeted to clients

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree
• Ability to quickly understand the business of health insurance and corporate wellness to serve the needs of each specific client
• Willing to do what it takes to get the job done in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
• Excellent writing skills to communicate regularly with clients as well as establish and strengthen customer relationships with client decision makers
• Exceptional business acumen and strong attention to detail
• Ability to implement and manage the effective delivery of key client programs including communication strategies, training, issue resolution and utilization reporting

Your day will include:

• Setting the bar for superior design and usability experience, whether it’s for web applications or mobile design.
• Building and integrating the Walkingspree website, web applications, and user interfaces.

Skill Set/Experience

Qualifications:

Customer Support Representative

You will be a team member addressing the needs of our customers in solving their issues in computer connectivity, understanding the Walkingspree program and general service and product replacement issues. Your duties include:

• Offer excellent knowledge of the Walkingspree pedometer and software platform for service inquiries and trouble shooting.
• Answer customer service telephone inquiries by actively listening to customers to understand requests, utilize positive language to emphasize what can be done, demonstrate empathy when needed, and have problem solving abilities.
• Respond to customer support requests via the web based support desk ticket system (Zendesk). Excellent written communication skills to respond to these tickets.
• High level of professionalism to close an outstanding ticket as soon as possible.
• Complete call logs and reports.
• Proactively highlighting trends, offering process improvements and other solutions to management in order to offer customer service above and beyond customer expectations.

Required Skills: (Please do not apply if you do not have these skills)
• Call Center experience utilizing computer systems and dealing with large base of customers.
• Strong understanding of PC and Mac computer platforms, IT firewalls and security software to address connectivity issues.
• Must be familiar with multiple internet browsers, cookies and common internet related problems.
• Experience investigating, tracking and resolving customer concerns.
• Strong technology/web based software skills and typing 30 wpm.
• You must be disciplined, motivated and work independently as this is a “Virtual Office” role from your home. You are expected to have a quiet home-office and you will be equipped with a virtual PBX phone system.
